Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist to operate and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision parts. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of machine tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce high-quality parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining operations and specifications.
- Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software to perform precise machining tasks.
- Load materials into CNC machines and adjust machine settings to ensure correct operation.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications using various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while operating machines and handling materials.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve machining processes and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep accurate records of machine operations, tool changes, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machining role.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and experience with CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and quality control techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of machining materials (metal, plastic, etc.) and machining techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CNC Programming, Machining Technology).
- Experience with advanced CNC machines, 3D printing, or automated production systems.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Previous experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing.
