Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing: Place orders for materials and components, ensuring timely delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and quality of parts.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with sourcing teams to assist with forecast needs. Able to bring a dynamic approach to order management, analysing and efficiently operating push & pull.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions or product quality.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse and report on procurement costs, identifying areas for potential savings and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
