Role Summary/Purpose
As a member of GE Vernova's Global Brand Marketing team, you will help build the story, brand, and engagement around a new and energizing global brand. You'll work closely with teams from across the world to build, promote and protect a leading, enduring global brand in a dynamic environment.
The Global Brand Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated and diligent Brand Governance and Operations leader. This senior leader is accountable for optimizing the processes, platforms and design tools involved to manage, scale and protect the GE Vernova brand globally. This leader is responsible for the development, deployment, and compliance of the GE Vernova brand ensuring one unified brand that is consistent, compliant, first class and intentional across every touchpoint.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver on brand licensee trademark requirements.

  • Partner to deliver required quarterly brand licensee reporting to GE Aerospace
  • Lead brand migration reporting workstream including management of business and regional partner brand migration audits and updates
  • Develop working relationships with and act as a trusted advisor to key internal stakeholders (creative, partners, strategic and regional business unit marketing leads, communications leads, employer brand, etc.) and agency/external partners on brand compliance

Operationalize and scale brand governance through lean

  • Analytics & Reporting - lead the development and monthly management of the Brand team's core KPIs for incorporation into the MOR
  • Establish Brand Dashboard & MOR
  • Partner to deliver required quarterly brand licensee reporting to GE Aerospace
  • Brand Platforms - lead the management and quarterly audits of shared platforms (e.g. Bynder, Brand Central)
  • Establish standard work across Brand function: Web, Social, Integrated Campaigns, Brand Governance
  • Establish best practices and documented global standard operating procedures (translation, etc.)

Efficiently scale Brand shared resources and offerings to drive impact for our business and regional partners

  • Support the continued buildout of GE Vernova's central digital asset management (DAM) tool and platform for central assets, photos, claims substantiation, etc.
  • Manage the creation of brand on-demand/DIY governance resources, i.e., templates, guidebooks, and FAQs
  • Manage, optimize and enhance the user experience of Brand Central - our central digital repository of brand resources, guidelines and tools for the company

Lead the continued focus on brand design & creative strategy

  • Serve as the people leader for the Brand Design & Creative Strategy leader - coach and mentor to bring out our talent's full potential
  • Support the development and rollout of GE Vernova's Brand Design Guidelines 2.0
  • Support the development, and management of current and future needs regarding the evolution of brand identity for GE Vernova

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in brand marketing, communications, journalism or related field or significant years of related experience or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Demonstrated related to communications, brand, operatoins and significant global project management experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience providing brand development and management at a Fortune 500 or Creative Agency strongly preferred
  • Experience and expertise building out or working in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; extremely attentive to deadlines and processes and strives to drive business results
  • Flexible and collaborative team player who is passionate about GE Vernova's mission and Purpose
  • A proven track record of detailed project management with the ability to drive process and establish standard work to help manage a successful brand governance program
  • Skilled, organized, problem-solver with a passion for brand
  • Attention to quality with an eye on establishing and communicating standards and guidelines
  • Understanding where flexibility is called for versus rigid standards
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate professionally to help influence stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization
  • Agile, quick-thinking multi-tasker who's able to pivot quickly between tasks
  • Open-minded quick learner who's able to adapt to rapidly shifting expectations and stakeholder goals
  • Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently as needed
  • Client-centric and service-oriented positive attitude
  • Ability to operate under pressure, within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent eye for visual design
