Job Description Summary
By becoming a member of GE Vernova's Communications team, you will help build the story and engagement around a significant and public company transformation. You'll work closely with teams from across the world to demonstrate GE Vernova's progress, performance, and path to growth in a dynamic environment.
The Asia Region Communications Specialist will have dual responsibilities as part of this role. The primary responsibility will be to support GE Vernova's large footprint in Asia and be a key player in developing and executing holistic external and internal communications and reputation management efforts for GE Vernova across the region. The secondary responsibility of this role is to sustain a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the region that will focus on centralized internal communications, content generation and digital/ social media consolidation.

This role reports into the Head of Communications - Asia while working closely with other sub-region Communications Business Partners. The Role will support the creation and implementation of content to educate, demonstrate, and inspire external and internal audiences about GE Vernova's role in leading a new era of energy. The ideal candidate must be a creative thinker with proven ability to execute communications plans, operate effectively in a matrixed organization, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and deploy regional communications plans including engineering and technology centers to cover both internal and external communications (social media engagement + web).
- Support reactive communications requirements for media relations, content, collaterals or internal employee outreach campaigns
- Design and ensure execution of internal communications plans that: provide timely information to employees to drive strong connectivity to business strategy; inform, align, and motivate employees to support company plans and priorities; drive employee engagement and productivity; encourage a culture of recognition, best practice sharing, inclusion, and diversity; promote our shared sense of purpose
- Create informative, relevant, and inspiring internal/external/executive content and assets for projects and campaigns across multiple stakeholder groups
- Plan and execute communications programs or activities that address specific business issues or employee needs and achieve desired results
- Assist in the design, writing, and editing of materials for internal and/or external use across various media, including web, social, email, newsletters, factsheets, print (digital signage, posters, mailings, etc.) and for a variety of audiences
- Provide broad support to all employee communications projects and engagement activities, including but not limited to community & DEI programs, town halls, all employee meetings, and executive communications
- Manage, consolidate and measure social media presence across the region. Drive engagement campaigns and rich content across GE Vernova businesses on the social media pages and develop a program to engage with GE Vernova's social media ambassadors
- Measure and report on regional communications activities and performance and make recommendations to team based on findings
- Liaise with cross-functional teams across various business units on marcomms, digital marketing, and demand creation campaigns
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Demonstrated experience in content creation and internal communications
- Content production experience including video storytelling, infographics, brochures, presentations, social media posts, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Unyielding commitment to integrity and safety

- Experience in documenting, measuring, and reporting on outcomes to demonstrate program impact
- Agency management experience

- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve challenges
- Experience in and understanding of the energy / power generation sector a bonus but not required
