As an Analyst on the Global Deal Execution team, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and analyzing key risks and supporting the sourcing, analyzing, closing, and funding of financial transactions. In addition, you will support the team by performing due diligence, financial modeling, and ongoing analysis for portfolio assets.

This role is in our Stamford, Connecticut office and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule according to company policy.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop detailed financial models to support structuring, valuation, and risk analysis on projects and companies.
  • Assist in preparing pitches, memos, and other documentation for internal approval processes and internal reports.
  • Manage routine activities of portfolio assets, including operating reviews, quarterly reporting, and valuations.
  • Conduct industry and company research, including risk analysis.
  • Prioritize and complete a multitude of complex projects on short timelines.
  • Manage projects to ensure administrative compliance with deal terms and establish, implement, and monitor operational reporting metrics.
  • Support special projects, Lean initiatives, new business development opportunities, and the operations of GE Vernova Investment Advisers, an SEC-registered investment adviser.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must comply with pre-employment screening, including drug testing, reference verification, and background check

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative academic background
  • GPA of 3.5 or above (out of a 4.0 scale)
  • Exposure to the energy industry
  • Understanding of three-statement financial modeling and strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to generate data-driven outputs and recommendations with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with the principles of project finance and tax equity investments
  • Skilled communicator who is able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual target bonus.
