The Aeroderivative Program Manager will report into the LMS100 Product Management Leader and will be responsible for driving strategic integration of NPI and Fleet programs. They will own, prioritize, and lead resolution of systemic product quality issues, NPI & repair programs through collaboration, alignment, and execution across the horizontal functions in the Gas Power business.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead repair and industrialization strategies for Aeroderivative products including but not limited to scope definition (impacting cost, TAT, lead time, etc.), building business cases and execution strategies (resource and supply chain development plans).
  • Assessing resource and P&E investment needed to support industrialization & manufacturing readiness programs.
  • Manage and report out on technical & execution risks tied to NPI/Industrialization programs.
  • Lead cross functional team to establish configuration management and documentation processes tied to industrialization efforts independent of GEA.
  • Own manufacturing readiness for New Product Introduction, including but not limited to supplier readiness, logistics impact, obsolescence strategy, manage cut-in strategy & product validation.
  • Own the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) target for assigned Aeroderivative product line tied to systemic product quality issues.
  • Develop, implement, and champion the execution of key programs focused on reducing COPQ by driving alignment and engagement across the enabling functions, Engineering, Supply Chain, Poles.
  • Drive NPI toll gate processes for repair, industrialization, technology development and fleet improvements.
  • Partner with product line managers and product service engineering to kick-off RAM programs to address fleet issues.
  • Assist services operations team in forecasting parts for critical service bulletins based on regional events outlook.
  • Fleet Management: Harness fleet event data, borescope inspection reports, depot reports, etc. to derive insights into areas of improvements for product reliability & quality and feed that intelligence into outage forecasting.
  • Manage customer communication for product fleet issues.
  • Report out on quality workstreams during product value stream Monthly Operating Rhythms.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on Gas Turbine Technology or similar industry
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a product line, engineering, services or program/project management.

  • Outstanding technical, business & financial analysis skills
  • Deep knowledge of the power generation marketplace
  • The candidate will have demonstrated ability in the following areas: leadership and influence, strategy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $134,000 - $223,400 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 15%.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
