• Understand engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs.
• Apply and understand control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors.
• Apply control technologies to Aero gas turbine new units and aftermarket applications.
• Test and develop requirements for Aero application code in MarkVIe Control system.
• Implement new control technologies into packaged product offerings.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance / Software Witnesses Acceptance Tests / CKOM with customers.
• Support site installations with occasional travel to customer sites 80% Office 20% Travel to customer site.
• Contribute in projects with responsibility for quality and schedule metrics.
• Support Controls Software Engineering process, Production and Field Engineering
• Contribute on Software development new units, CM&Us and perform validation test.
• Contribute on the solution of complex technical problems.
• Support Controls Requisitions Engineering, Production and Field Engineering.
• Provide engineering technical support cross functional teams to improve or resolve Controls design, performance.
• Contribute on the software development for NPI and validation test.
• Ability to create software automatic tools.
• Provide communications on significant issues or developments.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data is generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
• Participate on the implementation of innovative analysis design, development concepts of processes and systems.

• BS degree in Controls, Electrical & Mechatronics engineering from an accredited university.
• Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to program PLC's, Micro Controllers. Matlab.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives.
• Passion for continuous learning and applying best practices to achieve practical solutions.

• Master's degree in related field
• Understanding of Aero derivative engines.
• Experience developing Human Machine Interface HMI.
• MarkVIe/RX3i Control System Experienced desired.
• Industrial Power generation control knowledge.
• Knowledge of network protocols Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet.
