The Short term planner (Gate1/Gate3) will be responsible for planning of disassembly activities of engine from the induction to the complete disassembly according to SoW and Assembly activities of engines up to shipment inside the Aero Alliance LM Service Shop
Aero Alliance Service Center is a provider of LM2500-LM6000 (Aero derivative gas turbines) overhaul services.
The Short term planner (Gate1/Gate3) will report to Avenza Aero Alliance LM Service Shop Workshop leader
The role is intended to be performed on-site.
Job Description
- Planning and coordination of Gate1 activities to the complete disassembly of Gas Generator according to the SoW respecting all the technical G0 requirement/disposition, EHS/Quality requirements and the G1 TAT/OTD. Managing daily (shift by shift) scheduling balancing the workstation workload, operators workload, skills and fixtures availability.
- Planning and coordination of Gate 3 activities in order to respect the operation plan, the delivery of GG to G4/customer respecting EHS/Quality requirements. Working with G2 to manage the flow of material to e from warehouse to optimize workstation workload, spaces and to assembly the modules/GG respecting Dates/delivery. Attending production weekly review updating the progress of the work raising issue or risks for delivery.
- Working with G1 and G3 line leaders to Balance the G1/G3 activities on workstation to respect G1 and G3 goals, workstations workload, use of resources (tools and operators), hours development for the shop, working closely to foreman, operators and UTOF
- Highlights criticalities during the production and identify opportunities to continuously improve engines delivery dates
- Analyze workload, highlight overloads/bottlenecks for the plan and define recovery actions if needed to reach OTD/TAT targets;
- Support process improvement initiatives (like AWO) to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses;

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient skills in PC, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access
- Oracle or other ERP system experience
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Be a Solution-oriented problem solver
