What You'll Do

• Collaborate with local site leadership to foster a culture of Workplace Safety.
• Coach and develop site employees to promote safety initiatives.
• Build partnerships with key personnel, including Non-Manufacturing Leadership, Human Resources, Industrial Hygiene, and Health Services.
• Assist in investigating accidents and injuries.
• Create safety programs aimed at reducing injuries.
• Engage with local union representatives to address safety concerns.
• Support the administration of site safety rules and guidelines.
• Review new equipment and methods for potential hazards.
• Analyze safety statistics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Aid in the safety training of employees.
• Attend safety-related meetings and participate in safety committees to provide support.
• Manage and enhance the site's safety SharePoint site by keeping content current and implementing new initiatives.
• Deliver professional presentations effectively.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Experience in Safety or Environmental field
• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience

• Degree in Occupational Safety or Industrial Environmental Health
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan
• Well developed analytical, organizational, and project management skills
