GENERAL MOTORS OF CANADA COMPANY is a world-class automotive parts distribution network supplying General Motors dealerships and Delco distributors worldwide. The Vancouver PDC (located in Langley Twp) is currently seeking applicants to fill part-time Warehouse Attendant positions. The facility supports the western Canadian portion of the network which spans across four provinces and two territories.
As an integral part of team, you will perform multiple hands-on tasks associated with warehousing functions in a standardized, structured environment. You will be part of one team of engaged, customer-centric employees delivering outstanding results who share in General Motors' purpose and values.

Location: Langley, British Columbia
Shifts: Primary shift will be Mondays and Tuesdays - 8 Hours, however dependent on volume there may be opportunities for more hours or flexible shift start/end times/days
Hours: 8-24 hours weekly From May-September there may be an opportunity to work 40 hours/week
Wage: $29.90
Physical Demands of the Job:
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following actions:
- Walk and/or transport automotive parts via carts.
- Reach, move, push, pull, and/or lift automotive parts with both arms.
- Bend and/or twist repetitively.
- Grip and pinch with both hands and use various hand tools as well as a scanner
- Candidates must be comfortable working at heights

- A dedication to continuous improvement and job development
- Respect for people and our policies and values
- Ability to listen to, understand and communicate instruction in English

Requirements
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for up to 8-hours a day.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform and meet job requirements.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, procedure manuals, and policies.
- Candidates must be comfortable working at heights
