- This role requires an employee to be onsite on a full time basis.
The Role
- To regularly update the new product launch readiness and monitor the launch execution progresses to ensure new car smooth launch. In order to maximize the cross-functional teams collaborations, you are required to successfully steer the execution of GTM strategy and define action plan should there be deviation.
- In this position, you will also play an important role to develop the GMPI product go-to-market strategy collaborating with cross functional team to support the business growth. It serves as a high-level guideline to set a strategic launch framework for all related business stakeholders.
- We are looking for a dedicated manager with strong passion for auto industry and business acumen for such role.

What You'll Do
- Responsible for the development of new model go-to-market strategy as well as launch process & milestone planning to manage the launch readiness cadence
- Communication with cross function teams among GMPI business team (Marketing/Sales/Engineering...) and manage new product launches programs to achieve flawless launch
- Taking lead to drive the cross functions collaborations and manage conflicts to secure an efficient launch readiness management
- Taking lead to organize key GVDP and launch gateway review to assess the overall launch readiness status, highlight the risks and align the reactions
- Take over ad-hoc launch related business and offer cross-functional support when needed
- Contribute to seeding the accurate brand message across the global organization, dealerships, media outlets, agencies, etc.
- Ensure that all creative marketing materials adhere to strict brand guidelines.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to gain marketing insights and uncover key consumer insights and competitive opportunities.
- Brainstorm and develop creative marketing campaigns for various GM products including vehicles, accessories, parts, services, etc.
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
- Maintain and update corporate creative content.
- Build and manage relationships both internally and externally i.e.; CRM, agencies, GM partners, etc.
- Undertake related tasks as assigned.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Great passion for auto industry
- Proven experience in key functions including Product Marketing/Marketing & Communication/Sales/Retail, etc. is referred
- Rich experience of new car launch management and cross functions coordination with more than 5 years of related hands-on experience
- Drive business with an entrepreneur mindset and handle ambiguity with self-motivation
- Strong business mindset with result-driven purpose
- Business acumen, structured thinking, and efficient output
- Good at cross-functional communication and interaction
- Proficient English in written and spoken
