Description

Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis

What you will do:

Develop Plans and Schedules;

Develop Criteria and Requirements;

Prepare & Conduct test;

Report ADV Status; Support Quality Processes;

Lead / Support Evaluation Procedure Development;

Gain and Submit Best Practices, Lessons Learned and customer surveys;

Support ADV process to reduce Hardware and to realize RLM (Road- Lab-Math) strategy;

Lead Export validation activities in foreign countries with local partners;

Support Vehicle Validation - Type Approval Activities;

Lead work with internal and external customers and suppliers; participate in Problem Solving Teams; participate in DFMEA work groups;

Build and Lead Vehicle and/or Commodity ADV Sub-plans;

Review Program/Process Results; Document and Update Product/Process Knowledge;

Analyzes and interprets resulting data from tests (resolves data anomalies); Maintains frequent communication with customers;

Prepares formal written test reports; Frequent contact with team members outside of work group.

Qualifications

+3 years of experience

Advanced English level

Education Requirements:

  • BS in an Engineering: Electrical, Mechanic, Mechatronics, Aeronautics, Computer Science.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrated technical and professional skills in validation of a production intent product
  • High level of Program Management Skills
  • Effective presenter, negotiator, collaborator - regardless of organizational structure or hierarchy
  • Self-motivated to achieve results on time with minimum supervision. Ability to anticipate and engage
  • High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
  • Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally with global business partners to meet mutual goal.
  • Team Player with excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
  • Exhibits appropriate capability to deal with ambiguity, especially dealing with different regions and their inherent cultural differences
  • Experience with GM Validation related processes and milestones (PRTS, PQMS, Scorecard, etc) (Preferred)
  • GVDP 5.x and 7.x command
  • DFMEA
  • Vehicular Infotainment System
  • Electrical Modules reflashing
  • Android and IOS platforms
  • At least five years of professional engineering experience in the automotive industry
  • This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
  • Availability to travel (if required)
  • DFSS Green Belt (Black Belt preferred)
  • Advanced English skills/command
  • Action Oriented
