About the Group:
TRP Diagnostics and Prognostics - ALGOLiON group focus is developing and releasing the Earliest warning battery hazard detection and prevention software . The group uses ALGOLiON (formerly Israel-based battery software startup and today integral part of GM-Israel) novel algorithms which take data streams from battery management systems to identify anomalies in battery cell performance that may impact the performance of a battery pack or the safety of a vehicle.

About the role:
We are looking for a master's degree student in Computer Science or related field who will join the team and:
- Assist in developing Python scripts and tools for software validation and debugging.
- As part of the embedded software team perform various development tasks and projects.
- Participate in code, design and architecture reviews.
What will you do:
- Be part of a SW team that designs, develops, and maintains embedded SW implementation of the group's complex and innovative algorithm and the required tools and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams in Israel and USA.
- Develop tools, utilities, and scripts to debug issues in SW and HW simulations and in actual vehicles.
- Participate in on going continuous improvement efforts.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- M.Sc. student in Computer Science or related fields.
- Approximately two years or more left until the degree is completed.
- Available for three or more days each week.
- Track record of excellence.
- Proficiency in C and Python development.
- Self-fast-learner, programming skills, great communicational skills, team player, and details-driven character,
- Fluent in English both written and verbally.
