Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai, China five times per week.
The Role -
Your primary focus will be on testing functionalities of SOC and MCU embedded platform infrastructure architecture and low-level operating systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supplier software developers, system engineers, and product managers, to define test strategies, develop test plans, and execute test cases.
What You'll Do -
- Feature Requirements: Work closely with product managers to translate feature requirements into test cases and metrics.
- Integration Guidance: Provide guidance for BSP/HIWO packages integration into DPLY for release cadence.
- Coordination Meetings: Lead bi-weekly planning meetings to align on new package content and timing.
- Documentation: Document test results, track defects, and provide regular status reports.
- Quality Reviews: Participate in design and test result reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaboration: Review test cases and data with partners, safety, and validation teams.
- Testing Needs: Identify BSW components testing needs.

Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in CANoe, CANalyzer, and Lauterbach Trace32.
- Experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in CAPL, Perl, Jenkins and Python for test automation.
- Continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Hands-on experience with UDS Serial Data Communication (CAN/Eth/LIN) Diagnostics and CAN tools.
- Understanding of BSW Modules and embedded low-level systems testing.
- Familiarity with JIRA, JAMA, or similar project management tools.
- 3+ years of experience in Embedded Platform Infrastructure feature validation.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
- Understanding of SOC basic software architecture.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and functional safety requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework.
- 5+ years of firmware/software development experience.
