Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to HQ Building in Shanghai, China five times per week.
The Role -
This position is to supporting all GMPI (Premium Import) programs relevant to software quality events including but not limited to OTA & Software reflash, software scorecard, warranty performance monitoring, issue resolution and continuous improvement, CXCR, CTF, DWG(Double White Glove), SWQRR, etc.

- Primary responsibility is to supporting GMPI projects post-launch quality activities.

- OTA & Reflash process definition, implement and improvement as OTA process subject matter expert (SME).
- Supervise OTA & Reflash initiation, planning, execution, and documentation for all GMPI projects.
- Software Scorecard process implement and improvement as SME.
- Software related warranty issue monitoring, resolution follow up and escalation when needed
- Overall software related performance monitoring and driving for continuous improvement through OTA and next GEN product
- Support Voice of Customer (VoC) improvement, focusing on software related issues.
- Attend global infotainment software customer experience discussions and ensure China's customer expectations and VoC are incorporated in Global infotainment and Software related development Cycles.
- Sharing & cascade best practice and lessons learnt across GM global and JVs relevant to Post-launch software quality
- Supporting China regional SWQRR/Health Check.
- Supporting CXCR/CTF/DWG, including test implementation, software quality assessment, issue triage, solution, and breakpoint verification.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Knowledge:
- Well-developed automotive industry experience in Quality related fields;
- Experience in Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP);
- Skills:
- Good presentation and communication skills (verbal & written), understanding How and What to communicate, and when to do it.
- Good proficiency in English is a must, Spanish is highly desirable.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams to achieve program quality goals, ability to operate globally with regional counterparts to execute programs from global architectures, ability to obtain and provide data in a timely manner to drive quality improvements;
- Experience:
- Vehicle Development, Quality Engineering, Safety Field Investigation (SFI).
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Master's Degree in Engineering.
