Roles & Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Presentation Creation: Develop clear and engaging presentations that effectively communicate data findings and insights to various stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Data Storytelling: Transform complex data into compelling narratives that highlight key insights and drive strategic recommendations.
- Market Research: Conduct market and competitive research to support business strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing analysis of business performance. Cross train with teammates to support each other during absences/vacations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for various projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and presentation tools.
- This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate
Additional Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with data analysis, business intelligence, strategic analysis or related
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R or Databricks.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Excellent presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint or other presentation software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in utilizing large data sets, generating reports, and providing analysis to give data-based insights and recommendations
- Proven track record in developing presentations that tell a story and covey a recommendation based on data based insights
Preferred:
- Advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in market research and competitive analysis is desirable.
- Preference given to experience with a major consulting firm
