Workplace Status:

Hybrid: Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week.

The Role :

The Senior Cybersecurity IT Operations Deployment Engineer plays a crucial role in managing user access to essential IT applications, ensuring that the onboarding and offboarding processes are seamless, secure, and efficient. This includes meticulously configuring user access rights and permissions based on organizational policies and individual roles, while regularly reviewing and updating these configurations to reflect any changes in personnel or project requirements, as well as steer each IT project from initiation to launch. This person will also address miscellaneous urgent plant and manufacturing Cybersecurity IT application issues and requests with top priority.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Cybersecurity Applications: Vehicle Signing System (VSS), Green Hills Software (GHS), and IVCS ECU Cryptographic System (IECS).
  • Manage IT onboarding initiatives for both internal and external members for Signature Bypass Authorization Tickets (SBATs) and certificates.
  • Identify, define, and drive system and process improvements of Cybersecurity IT Applications.
  • Develop and maintain the Cybersecurity IT roadmap by ensuring the IT organization is focused on executing the prioritized projects effectively.
  • Participate in quarterly IT roadmap workshop to ensure application features are appropriately prioritized.
  • Propose and define improvement initiatives to management to be added to IT features list.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed by IT Applications Team.
  • Manage and execute Cybersecurity Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) responsibilities.
  • Lead weekly IT sync meetings and address open topics to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Business owner for SFD and support UAT needs upon patching/migrations/etc.
  • Business owner for ASMS/A2/Glenda and support with the renewal process.
  • SharePoint administrator to maintain adequate relevant information by working with design and deployment engineers.
  • Maxis administrator to maintain and update the reporting system per the design and deployment engineering needs.

Additional Description

What You'll Need (Requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
  • Demonstrated ability in lead projects by coordinating the work of others.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations while taking into account appropriate tradeoffs between conflicting objectives.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data.
  • Solid analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams, as well as mentor, motivate, and elicit work output from peers and other team members.
  • Effective communicator with solid oral and written presentation skills.
