Senior Buyer (Direct Material)
What you will do/Responsibilities:
The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Additionally, the Buyer will manage procurement budgets and drive technical cost reduction initiatives to ensure cost-effective purchasing:
- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Cost Management: Analyze market trends, manage budgets, and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and resolve any issues
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage procurement budgets.
- Ensure all purchasing activities are within budgetary constraints and report on budget performance
- Technical Cost Reductions: Identify and implement technical cost reduction strategies, such as process improvements,
- product redesigns, and supplier collaboration to reduce overall procurement costs
- Inventory Management: Support Supply Chain inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess.

Additional Description
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related Careers.
- Previous experience in similar positions (Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics).
- Experience in similar industries.
- Microsoft Office: intermediate level.
- English: advanced level.
- Active Driver's licence.
- Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person = Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
