Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Global Technical Center - Cole Engineering Tower, Warren MI, three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our FP&A Special Projects team, focusing on global markets outside of North America. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional CFO and Regional President on special strategy projects aimed at assessing risk and driving profitable revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a background in strategy consulting.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Regional CFO and Regional President to identify and evaluate strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess risk and identify opportunities for profitable revenue growth.
- Develop and present financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and track their progress.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with non-finance operating teams, peers, and leaders in operational areas such as portfolio planning, marketing, market research, M&A, corporate strategy, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive pipeline for future strategic innovation studies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and forward-thinking initiatives.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in global markets outside of North America.
- High level of business acumen.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Prior experience in strategy consulting.
- Experience working with senior leadership, including CFOs and Presidents.
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial metrics and KPIs.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Automotive industry experience
