Description

This role is categorized as HYBRID . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Retail Planning and Incentives Analyst position will be responsible for executing special member only incentives leveraging GM's Costco partnership, monitoring, and reporting of major competitive incentive announcements and being a liaison to the GM and GM Financial incentive and dealer support process.

As a Retail Planning and Incentives Analyst, you will help create the Costco special member incentives with the brands which includes requesting promotional assets to be utilized in go-to -marketing plans, executing special promotion contracts, validating sales, and communicating results to a cross-functional team. You will be responsible for monitoring key competitive incentives and communicate accordingly to the divisional and finance teams. You will also assist as a liaison between GM and GM Financial.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Costco member only incentive development and implementation
  • Costco subject matter expert supporting brands and field inquiries
  • Oversee and manage the development, execution, and sales reporting of the Costco promotions
  • Develop and deliver various presentations for leadership reviews and decisions
  • Communicate competitive incentive changes to brands and finance
  • Collaborate with various suppliers to ensure competitive incentive changes are accurate
  • Work with GM Financial to address any needs from GM
  • On a consistent basis provide support and manage the GM Financial meetings

Additional Description

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required, Business, Marketing, or related area preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales, or related areas; 2+ years managing strategy, programs, partnerships, and/or projects
  • Ability to cross functionally collaborate with high visibility
  • Act with urgency and has a record of providing data driven solutions
  • Effective and proficient communication, and interpersonal skills to align business objectives across a variety of settings
  • Excellent presentation skills with focus on audience and providing a clear and concise messaging
  • Knowledge of retail operations, incentives, or planning space (preferred)
  • Experience in Automotive setting or industry preferred
