The Role:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for validating execution of Quality Systems requirements, which include all metrics of Voice of Customer (VOC), Initial, Long Term and Design Quality. Responsibilities also include monitoring progress to meet quality goals through common global process assessments, facilitating rapid containment of issues, installation of countermeasures and Leadership escalation, if required, to ensure Quality targets are achieved. A considerable amount of creativity and initiative will be involved, as well as a high level of independent judgment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead Quality Reviews (AQRT) to verify that critical to Quality deliverables meet the customer's requirements, and are completed on time with integrity; assure there is a high level of awareness and accountability of the risk potential of all quality metrics for the department
- Ensure Quality Assessments are performed, and all issues are contained/resolved
- Manage Fast Response problem solving for all departmental quality PPS
- Manage warranty data, and be the lead for all assigned manufacturing controllable PRTS issues
- Participate in CPIT meetings and Warranty Improvement Initiatives
- Prepare program updates for product Development Quality Leadership
- Work with departmental Red X personnel to root cause internal and external defects, driving robust countermeasures
Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts as needed
- Position is not a hybrid or remote job opportunity

- Proficient in use of Q-Stat, Flexnet and eFlex and Bauer
- Understanding of Process Control Plans and Process Failure Modes Effect Analysis
- Demonstrated effective use of Red X Problem Solving
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
- The salary range for this role is - 94,800.00 MIN and 151,400.00 MAX USD from Pay Transparency Posting Salary Ranges. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
