Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Austin (TX) or Warren (MI) three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
We are looking for a Program Manager, to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and project management with a focus on our intern, track and co-op programs across the United States. The person in this role will identify and drive strategic initiatives. We are seeking someone with demonstrated experience in the design, implementation, and execution of transformation programs as well as deep experience in partnership with clients/the business. The key to this role is to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to influence intern, track and co-op processes / programs through use of data and insights. Our ideal candidate is someone who can drive change across multiple teams and functions and influence them to work towards a shared goal.

Responsibilities
- Lead operational and strategic initiatives across the Early Career Programs Team
- Partner with business leaders to define strategy and then build roadmaps and execution plans in service of the overall strategy
- Drive consistency across the internship experience throughout multiple locations within the US
- Ensure clear connection between strategy and functional operations to meet goals
- Collaborate with team members as well as cross-functional partners to identify process improvement opportunities; create solutions to address them
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative methodologies to make decisions and recommendations to drive improvements to our program
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and interns
- Help build and develop training for intern managers within assigned function(s)
- Help build and design intern project plan deliverables
- Seek to understand what key programming is necessary to make for a rewarding programmatic experience.
- Partner with key stakeholders to create a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience for interns, Track Participants and Co-Op students in all functions and locations
- Drive connectivity between our experiences; build a deeper connection to GM through innovative events and initiatives
Additional Description
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required
- 3+ years working with early career/ co-op / college / university programs
- 3+ years of project management experience across multiple workstreams and functions
- Experience translating business challenges and questions into solutions
- Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in designing and scaling detailed regular insights and updates out to a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience engaging directly with executive-level clients and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing processes and experiences in an organization scaling for growth
- Experience managing complex programs across multiple functions and locations
