The Role:
We are seeking a Process Maintenance Engineer to serve as the primary point of contact and owner of the facility's process equipment maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous and proper physical operation and uptime of process equipment. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing day-to-day engineering support and troubleshooting for all process equipment, fostering an environment where all team members feel empowered to contribute their insights.
- Maintaining continuous communication with site operations and facilities leadership to promote collaboration and inclusivity in decision-making.
- Supporting the development and training of the maintenance team, ensuring that all members have the resources and support they need to succeed.
- Ensuring compliance with equipment maintenance standards while promoting a culture of accountability and respect.
- Proactively developing job plans for continuous improvement of maintenance activities and team efficiency, valuing diverse perspectives in the process.
- Overseeing third-party maintenance contracts and coordinating work to ensure alignment with our inclusive values and operational goals.
What You'll Do:
- Providing technical direction and oversight to resident Business Partners and outside contractors, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
- Supporting the maintenance, integration, installation, and continuous improvement of new process equipment and tools to meet production goals.
- Interfacing with regulatory agencies and municipalities as needed.
- Supporting the launch of new programs from equipment design to production release.
- Developing scopes of work, bidding, and establishing or renewing equipment maintenance contracts.
- Acting as a liaison between new site construction, facilities, and operations.
- Managing scope changes throughout installation and the life of production equipment maintenance contracts.
- Maintaining open communication between plant and facilities teams to foster collaboration.
- Driving strategic and analytical planning to optimize operations and processes.
- Providing technical direction to outside vendors and improving equipment uptime.
- Managing contractors through debugging and production release.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and standard practices.
- Showing a dependable commitment to completing tasks on time with a customer-centric approach.
- Supporting plant safety initiatives and leading WSS or PS assignments related to safety systems.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelors Degree in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience with process equipment operations
- Ability to work alternative shift schedules, including weekends & holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite and project management tools.
- Able to read and work from blueprints
- Strong knowledge of operations, production/process equipment & utilities.
- Strong ability to interact and lead contractors as well as senior leadership.

- Experience with maintaining automated storage and retrieval system.
