The Role:
This role involves architecting and implementing a comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap for Manufacturing Engineering (ME). You will lead the development and integration of scalable AI solutions to automate ME digital information flow and optimize manufacturing operations. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, you will identify and mitigate risks associated with AI implementation, including data privacy and ethical concerns. Collaboration with ME Centers, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders is crucial to align AI projects with organizational goals and ensure seamless data integration. Additionally, you will develop an AI integration playbook and continuously optimize AI models and algorithms to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and overall results.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Develop AI Strategy and Roadmap : Architect and implement a comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap for Manufacturing Engineering (ME).
- Lead AI Solution Development : Lead the development and integration of scalable AI solutions to automate ME digital information flow and optimize manufacturing operations.
- Ensure Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure AI solutions comply with industry standards and best practices, and identify and mitigate risks associated with AI implementation, including data privacy and ethical concerns.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with ME Centers, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to align AI projects with organizational goals and ensure seamless data integration.
- Continuous Improvement and Optimization : Develop an AI integration playbook and continuously optimize AI models and algorithms to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and overall results.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation
- Proven experience in developing and implementing AI strategies and roadmaps
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for AI solutions
- Experience in risk management, including data privacy and ethical concerns
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools and technologies
- Innovative with strategic mindset, capable of seeing things as they could be and making decisions with the long term view in mind
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in Manufacturing Engineering
- Familiarity with digital twin and simulation technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Demonstrated ability to continuously optimize AI models and algorithms
