Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

This role will provide new professional growth and development opportunities and will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic vision and optimizing business processes. These roles involve leading key initiatives, developing and executing business plans, and ensuring organizational alignment across all functions. The ideal candidates will possess strong strategic planning skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capability to influence and drive results-based changes within the organization. The candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values open communication and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities

  • Initiate, monitor, and manage multiple projects, including OpEx and new initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between ME, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Plants for alignment and collaboration opportunities.
  • Stay current on new processes, technology, and competitive products.
  • Simplify reporting systems and tracking to eliminate redundant inputs across multiple platforms.
  • Perform business data analysis (Dashboards), interpret data, and provide regular updates/solutions that align across sectors.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Focus on cost-reduction initiatives that directly impact the bottom line by using ME SAVES to identify savings opportunities and cost avoidance strategies.
  • Collaborate with PIC and BIC teams to drive consistency across sectors.
  • Ensure Capital & Ops Expense Forecast Consolidation between ME sectors - Work with engineering forecast owners to align forecast Goldsource with current business plan timing.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Strong active listening skills that allow them to understand the speaker's message and respond in a way that shows comprehension.
  • Demonstrates conflict resolution to identify, understand, and resolve conflict in a positive and constructive way.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility to work across both internal groups and with external partners.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and business optimization.
  • Ability to lead and execute with ambiguity.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to process a broad array of inputs into a cohesive strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.
  • Ability to influence and drive changes within the organization.
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing processes and process improvement.
  • Experience in the automotive or OEM industry.
  • Strong project management skills.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 5 years of experience in a job-related field.
  • Knowledge or previous experience with agile management strategies.
  • Familiarity with global and regional business dynamics.
