What you will do (responsabilities):
The Labor Relation Manager has the following challenges:
- Lead the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations process with recognized employee organizations.
- Develop local negotiation strategies, negotiate, and oversee the administration of local labor agreement.
- Provide guidance and support for regional negotiation strategies.
- Use appropriate negotiation strategies to develop bargaining goals and negotiate contracts consistent with the Company's mission, values, goal and budget.
- Achieve agreements that aim the maintenance of Company's competitiveness and allow the adequacy for constants market challenges and production needs, assuring the achievement of targets.
- Maintain current knowledge of employee and labor relations trends, legal decisions, and statutory changes.
- Conduct research necessary to support contract negotiations and employee relations.
- Manage administration of labor contracts: provide interpretation of labor, provides information, advice and assistance to Human Resources department managers and staff regarding application of CBA, regulations, contracts and employee relations practices relating to their functional areas (payroll, compensation, and others).
- Assure the HR team are aligned to the Labor Relations strategies, guaranteeing the necessary training and qualification.
- Keep harmony between Capital and Labor Relations at GM plants.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with Management, Union Representatives, Central Staffs and others outside the work group
- Solve conflicts pertinent to Labor Relations. Act with agility aiming problems solutions.
- Facilitates on-going communication and working relationships with employee representative organizations and Union.
- Act on behalf of GM, as needed, in representing the Company in various legal matters

Additional Description
Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Law (mandatory)
- Postgraduate in Labor Law / People Management MBA desirable
- Strong experience with Labor Relations activities and negotiations with Union (mandatory)
- Significative experience as a People Leader/Manager
- Fluent English and Portuguese/ Spanish advence desirable
- Availability for business trip
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Availability to work at São Caetano do Sul/ BR plant
