This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre, three times per week at minimum. The National Marketing Manager - Chevrolet Cars Crossovers will work closely with and report to the Brand Director, Chevrolet and will lead two Marketing Segment Managers. This role will lead the brand marketing strategies collaborating regularly with their US counterparts as well as number of internal GMCC departments/divisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Brand Team in achieving Business Plan Targets - Sales, Market Share, Profitability and Brand HealthDevelop strategic and concise brand marketing plans that define the product, pricing, distribution and promotional strategy across the Cars, Crossover, and Electric Vehicle portfolio working collaboratively with the US marketing teams, product planning, distribution and finance departmentsWork closely with the Chevrolet Advertising Communications Team and support them with comprehensive agency briefsLead the monthly retail go-to-market strategies in support of RPM including competitive analysis and insights, product positioning and competitiveness, regional retail focus (product pricing)Lead the execution of flawless product launches through all market gates through in-market launchDevelop impactful sales tools and provide updates for field staff and dealer personnel (Ie. Playbooks, VOD's, update meetings, etc)Product Planning and PositioningLead development of strong product packaging strategies that meet/exceed consumer needs while providing maximum profitabilityDevelop pricing and incentive strategy that promotes profitable share growth for the brandCollaborate with Finance, Engineering, Distribution, CCA, and NA/Global colleagues, to ensure Canadian market needs are met in our productsUnderstand and mobilize key knowledge and insights that will help market and sell our vehicles more effectivelyAct as marketing lead for GMCC product planningProduct ManagementActively manage sales, market share, and residual values to ensure brand stays on track against midterm planIdentify issues and opportunities, and provide to management sound recommendations that effectively balance brand and enterprise goalsFully leverage enterprise data and key research (JD Power PIN) to make informed recommendationsChampion the products to ensure they are effectively promoted and serviced, by building productive relationships with CCA, Ad teams, Connected Customer, and PRRun point on coordinating new vehicle launches, product war room sessions, and monthly sales reportingOrganizational CapacityBuild strong, productive relationships with all marketing and GMCC functional counterparts, leveraging smart processes to drive efficiencyCoach and develop Marketing Segment Managers, leveraging CAP, 1:1 meetings, Workday Tools, and ongoing feedbackDemonstrate positive contributions to VSM and GMCC culture
