HybridThis role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren three times per week, at minimum. The Role The lead is responsible for leading, coaching, inspiring, and managing a team of analytical subject matter experts (SMEs) and system developers. This role focuses on transforming our organization by leveraging innovative automation and AI technologies. The lead will directly manage a team that strategically supports GM's business strategies, significantly impacting enterprise results. You will influence others throughout the organization to embrace new concepts, practices, and approaches while promoting GM's values. What You'll DoEnsure business processes and project execution are streamlined, efficient, and documented, advancing the organization forward.Align the team strategically with corporate initiatives to drive significant improvements in efficiency and quality.Collaborate with cross-functional corporate partners to promote commonality across the enterprise.Motivate the team to innovate and think outside the box, removing roadblocks and resolving potential issues swiftly.Conduct regularly scheduled group meetings to communicate GM policies, procedures, leadership, and safety messages.Assign and manage workloads for direct reports; review and approve work-related data.Train, mentor, and provide constructive feedback for the development of team members.Partner with staff to develop yearly goals aligned with corporate Key Strategic Initiatives (KSIs).Identify and develop succession plans for staff, ensuring seamless onboarding for new hires.Manage cultural diversity within the team and support global partners and program activities.Recognize employee contributions formally and informally, providing timely feedback.Participate in compensation planning and deliver compensation as supported by leadership.Ensure employees complete all mandatory GM training and any specific training related to their functional responsibilities.
