Work Arrangement:This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.The Role:As an HR Technology Project Manager at General Motors, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of HR technology initiatives in an agile project delivery environment. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and IT professionals to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our HR technology ecosystem.Key Responsibilities: Project Planning, Execution and Reporting: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for HR technology initiatives covering HR system implementations, integrations and upgrades to the existing HR tech stack. Lead project teams in the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time and within budget. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members. Produce and distribute project status reports to relevant stakeholders. Project Methodology: Deliver projects in line with our project methodology.Provide recommendations to optimize the existing methodology.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR leadership and other key stakeholders to define the project objectives and deliverables. Communicate project updates and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels.Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate project success.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR functions. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR technology function.Vendor Management: Work in partnership with HR technology vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Required Qualifications:5+ years experience delivering HR Technology projects within enterprise-level organizations, such as but not limited to; Absence, Benefits, Compensation, DEI, HCM, Labor, Learning, Mobility, Offboarding, Onboarding, Recruitment Succession Planning. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices. Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince 2, HRMP).Experience working in an Agile project delivery environment.Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is $93,400 - $149,200 USD Annually.Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
