Hybrid: This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their primary location (Warren, MI) three times per week, at minimum.The Role:As a member of the Data Engineering organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a rich and rapidly growing dataset. Join our team responsible for providing the data that delivers key insights on how our systems perform in the field.What You'll do:Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and systems for data collection.Manage data collection configurations in existing systems.Monitor, optimize, and modernize existing methods of data capture.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Develop new processes and methods for configuring in-vehicle data captureEnsure data quality and integrity.Understand the signals in the vehicle, the purpose and use of the data, and ensure signal fitness for purpose.Work with business partners on data-related issues and develop solutions to support their data needsDevelop, execute, and manage data validation tests.
