The Role:
In this role, you may perform inventory control, scheduling or be responsible for other warehouse support functions in a warehouse distribution or processing center. You will contribute to team goals and solves problems with guidance from direct leader in addition to the following responsibilities:

What You'll Do:
- Independently seek opportunities to learn the processes within own area, and the tools / approaches that can be applied to these challenges.
- Exercise decision-making skills sufficient to propose solutions to leadership and a plan for utilizing established procedures to create new solutions.
- Develop stable working relationships internally exchanging standard/basic information with colleagues and immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professionals in the team.
- Contribute to discussions relevant to the direction and priorities of own area.
- Communicate information about relevant facts, practices, and policies pertaining to their own job area, effectively exchanging information with colleagues and team leaders in a concise, clear, and professional manner.
- Develop an understanding of established procedures / approaches sufficient to exercise independent judgment and professional decision-making regarding the appropriate course of action. Work undergoes periodic review in accordance with established procedures or precedent.
- Follow through on difficult situations and exercises independent decision-making regarding a course of action by following established procedures.
Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Requires good theoretical knowledge in specialization and an entry-level understanding of practices and procedures, usually acquired through an undergraduate degree, professional certification, or comparable work experience with some additional limited experience.
- Critical analysis skills developed through professional study or comparable experience sufficient to identify, describe, and make recommendations relative to business challenges impacting their area on a day-to-day basis. Applies a body of professional / theoretical knowledge and problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
- Works under direct guidance and task-oriented supervision. Employees typically follow a defined process but are required to plan and organize their own work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel and Access preferred)
- Ability to problem solve efficiently and proactively
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred):
- Experience with WMS
- Inventory Control experience preferred
