This role is categorized as hybrid . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren Cadillac-Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The Global Marketing Development Manager will lead the development and acceleration of the GM Marketing Way across the global marketing organization. This role is key in promoting and driving acceleration of the GM Marketing Way with one simple approach to marketing that drives outcomes aligned to clear measures of success and ways of working. They will be responsible to work with SMEs to infuse the GM Marketing Way into marketing planning, processes, and development of marketing tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, strategic planning with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Align GM Global Marketing Way to marketing planning and processes.
- Lead the development of one clear vision for marketing with one simple approach to what and how teams operate
- Partner with SMEs to develop the tools and process to support the Marketing Way.
- Lead and roll out GM Marketing Way across the global marketing organization to support business growth.
- Partner with global regions to embed the GM Marketing Way in their regions with necessary tailored processes to meet regional needs.
- Manage relationships with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external partners to develop and integrate programs across marketing.
- Identify process, capability and tools needed to drive the marketing acceleration with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of global organizational strategies, ensuring cohesive marketing development and operational alignment.
Additional Description
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferred in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, customer experience, ideally within a global marketing organization or similarly complex environment.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing growth strategies and assessing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of marketing technical skills, with experience in developing strategic frameworks
- Experience simplifying complex strategies and tactics
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in driving cross-functional initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous growth.
- Knowledge of marketing and customer experience strategies and approaches.
