This role is categorized as onsite . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Martinsburg CCA PDC on a full-time basis.
The Role:
This position leads Inventory Control and Quality functions at a parts distribution center. Manages group of salaried and hourly employees on assigned shift. Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and integrity to ensure quality and timeliness of shipments to customers with minimal guidance from superintendent or plant manager.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Models GM's cultural behaviors and demonstrates the highest level of integrity at all times
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management team
- Manages slotting and counts for 50k unique parts in a dynamic 400k sq foot warehouse, providing safe, ergonomic and efficient locations to be accessed by shipping and receiving personnel
- Administers Inventory Control Database to meet LMS Metrics for part commodity classes, volume and density slotting, efficient travel paths and ergonomics
- Administer, direct , develop and implement of IC (Inventory Control) processes to ensure minimum backorders, high integrity of counts and warehouse space maximization
- Monitors safety and champions assigned Workplace Safety System Elements and Performance Standards
- Leads quality standards and initiatives by communicating goals and leveraging resources to solve problems
- Oversite and development of the processes to ensue ORM (Operations Risk Management) compliance within the facility.
- Understands and consistently administers collective bargaining agreements and company policiesParticipates and provides input during selection of new employees
- Leads GMS activity for Standardization
- Strong understand of Quality Systems, tools, metrics and data analytics
- Monitors daily productivity and quality requirements to achieve customer expectations
- Communicates effectively with employees, leaders, business partners, and customers
- Cultivates a safety culture, and implements and enforces workplace safety rules and policies
- Evaluates team performance, and promotes continuous improvement
- Understands and consistently administers collective bargaining agreements and company policies

Additional Description
Yours Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 4 years of Supervisory experience (Required)
- Experienced with warehouse management systems and database management
- Analytical skills
- Computer skills
- 4 years of relevant experience in a Warehouse or Distribution Center
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to build collaborative relations with others
- Experience with UAW partners
- Ability to prioritize multi projects simultaneously
- Ability to work any shift as dictated by the business
- Proficiency in WMS, IMS, MS Access, PowerBI and MS Excel Macro use/creation
- Must be willing to work any shift as dictated by business
- Must be willing to work overtime (including weekends as needed)
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS), Kronos, Workday, GMS, Grievance Procedural Process and Workplace Safety System
- Experience with Business Process Management, Process Improvement and Project Management.
