The Role
We are currently looking for you to take on the role of Facility Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible to provide electrical engineering support for facility electrical systems associated with manufacturing plants (assembly, stamping, powertrain, casting, and paint), non-manufacturing projects and/or asset sustainment projects by overseeing all aspects of system designs. Responsibilities include the oversight of facility electrical system designs (Primary power, secondary distribution, grounding, lighting, Allen Bradley based distributed control systems, life safety supervision systems, HVAC controls, security systems), Safety requirements, code compliance and interpretation, quality and cost. Construction project management and oversite will be required.

- Functional/Technical Skills - Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment including financial management of Projects.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating facilities electrical system designs and supporting/ operation of facility electrical systems
- Experience with Construction Contracts including engineering drawings and specifications
- Experienced with Building codes, specifically CE Code (CSA C22.1), NFPA 70 (NEC), NESC & IEC and electrical specifications (IEEE System design books)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
