Description

This role is categorized as hybrid . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center, three times per week, at a minimum or other frequency dictated by business needs.

Are you passionate about electric vehicles and safety? We are looking for an enthusiastic EV Battery Support Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our dealers throughout the EV Battery/Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS) replacement process. Your focus on safety and efficiency will ensure that our cutting-edge technology is handled with the utmost care.

  • Champion Safety: Lead the charge in ensuring safety throughout the RESS replacement process, making it your top priority at every step.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Engage with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Advisors, Escalation Team Members, Brand Quality, and Engineering to facilitate a smooth and safe repair process.
  • Remove Roadblocks: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate any obstacles in the repair process, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Empower Dealers: Develop, update, and publish comprehensive training materials on RESS and vehicle safe handling, equipping dealers with the knowledge they need to manage EVs & RESS Replacements confidently.
  • Field Support: Assist the Field Response Team in coordinating with dealers and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) as needed, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Monitor and Support: Support Customer Experience and Engineering teams in connecting with Dealers and Field teams as needed, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Track Progress: Ensure all RESS replacements at dealers are tracked effectively, facilitating timely returns for Root Cause Analysis.
  • Data Analytics: Analyze data related to RESS replacements, identify trends, and support process improvements through data dashboard and reporting development.
  • Communicate Effectively: Summarize critical issues and resolutions, providing clear and concise updates to leadership and team members.

Relocation: This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Additional Description

Required Qualifications:

  • 2- 3 years of experience with vehicle systems, prior automotive service, engineering experience, or related
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended and non-core hours as needed to ensure issues are resolved.
  • General knowledge with automotive systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Development skills with experience in BI and analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SQL
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred), Automotive, or equivalent degree
