Description
This role is categorized as HYBRID . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The Dealer Development team pursues opportunities to increase GM sales and market share by protecting and optimizing our dealer network. The Dealer Performance Manager is primarily focused on improving the overall portfolio performance of our dealerships. You will help optimize the network by exploring opportunities to replace underperforming dealers with more suitable candidates and ensure succession plans are in place to guarantee continued GM presence in the marketplace.

You will also provide resources to at-risk dealers. This includes profitability and optimization consultations, leading our 20 groups and training and coordinating peer coaching and mentorship.
Role Responsibilities
- Reformat 20 groups and manage enrollments and vendor relationships
- Develop and relaunch awards process
- Formalize process to provide mentors to interested candidates or at-risk dealers
- Provide operational and financial (Poplite) support and consultations to dealers
- Formalize follow-up cadence
- Collaborate with internal GM team members, including regional and zone teams, to support dealer performance improvement
- Support dealer council
- Manage Sharepoint
- Website Support
- Support special events and conferences
Additional Description
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, business or related areas preferred
- 4+ years of experience in sales, service, and marketing with 2+ years of dealer facing field experience
- Extensive knowledge of dealer financials and the ability to transform key performance indicators to action items
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentations skills
- Advanced project management skills
- Ability to independently handle and resolve conflicting priorities as well as ability to think strategically and creatively
- Up to 30% travel to dealerships for consultation and conferences
