Description

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will play a role in supporting our market research projects, translating customer research information into valuable insights that will shape company strategic action plan.

This position is suitable for someone with a passion for market research and an interest in understanding China automotive industry and consumer landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep dive into customer research on digital service and experience in automotive industry.
    • Independently perform desktop research and data analysis on secondary research reports about automotive digital service and experience.
    • Summarize the reports and information into market insights that will strengthen industry knowledge base and shape project design.
  • Support in planning and execution of primary research compliance to methodologies.

  • Support in the data analysis of primary research projects such as brand research, vehicle pre-launch study, etc.
  • Develop sample plan, questionnaires, and support stimuli development and review process.
  • On-site coordination with partners and vendors for research fielding, qualitative interviews, and workshops; Support set-up, and quality management.
  • Support in creating research report timely and communicate key findings effectively with team member and project stakeholders.
    • Collect and analyze data into customer and market insights.
    • Slide design and draft report with good story telling sequences.
    • Support function team review.

  • Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

    • 3rd year or 4th year undergraduates or graduate students majoring in English, Automotive intelligence, Business, Statistics, or Sociology is preferred.
    • Excellent in English and Chinese communication, both speaking and writing, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation, quick learner, strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months to ensure continuity and impact on long-term projects. 3+ days/week is required.
    • Good knowledge about auto industry is preferred.
    • Strong interest about automotive digital experience is preferred.
    • A technical understanding of market research, both qualitative and quantitative methodologies is preferred.
