The Role
We are looking for experienced Pipefitter to join our CAMI Facility!
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and drawings.
- Install pipes using various welding and plumbing techniques
- Perform regular inspections and repair broken or leaking pipes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Measure and cut pipes using various tools to ensure proper fit before installation.
- Join pipes using welding, soldering, or adhesive techniques ensuring leak-proof connections.
- Inspect and test piping systems for safety and performance, adjusting as necessary.
- Collaborate with other trades professionals to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety protocol, policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems
- Fabricate and install piping systems for various applications, including water tower, silo material piping, etc..
- Weld pipes using appropriate techniques to ensure durability and reliability.
- Maintain and repair existing piping systems as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately build and rig piping layouts.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fittings and installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
Additional Description
Interested individuals must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Who We Are Looking For:
- High School education with a valid Steamfitter (307A) License
- Successful completion of Canadian Steamfitter Apprenticeship Program
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter, with a strong background in plumbing systems and installations.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals related to plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with plumbing-related issues.
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to work scheduled overtime as required
