Description
Hybrid: This position requires the employee to work in person 3x per week.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with design teams to develop body structures that meet safety, performance, and aesthetic requirements.
- Construct and follow-up on Multifunction Component Timing Chart to guarantee on track product development and execution.
- Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
- Resolve highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.
- Interact with Manufacturing tea, to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for body assembly, including welding, stamping, and joining techniques.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that the product design will meet efficient process, production and quality control.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure that body structures meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving for any quality issues that arise during production.
- Coordinate requirements and design reviews with suppliers, e.g. DFMEA, DRBFM, Peer Reviews.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials for body components to optimize weight, cost, and performance.
- Skilled and proficient with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding material and process specifications.
- Analyze test results and make recommendations for design improvements.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor degree Engineering (preferable in Mechanical, Automotive, Production, Automation)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency knowledge on Stamping components, Metallic materials properties and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Advanced or Fluent English (write/speak/listen)
- This position requires you to be able to legally operate a motor vehicle. (Active drivers license)
- Active CREA.
