Work Arrangement :
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Detroit Renaissance Center three times per week, at minimum.

The People Service Center team within HR Operations provides HR support to employees globally and strategically partners across the organization with teams including Finance, IT, Marketing and Manufacturing to provide quality services. In addition to providing a world-class employee experience, the team is committed to driving value through process optimization, data-driven solutions, and implementation of innovative technologies such as ServiceNow and Moveworks.
What You'll Do:
Interact cross-functionally with global teams in a hybrid work setting to identify & implement innovative solutions which improve experiences for employees.
This position will provide experiences in the following:
- Data analysis and identification of opportunities for process improvement to positively impact quality and employee experience
- Exposure to multiple IT systems (Workday, KNIME, PowerApps, ServiceNow, Moveworks), business units (Manufacturing, IT, Finance), and countries of operation
- Problem solving of sophisticated problems
- Creation of transformational project plans
- Support of implementations of new IT systems
- Building and enhancing digital employee experiences
Additional Description
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, IT, Systems Engineering, HR, Finance, Data Science, or related fields
- Must be graduating between December 2025 and August 2026
- Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months

Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2025.
Compensation:
- The monthly salary range for this role is $4,400 - $5,400, dependent upon class status and degree.
- GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
