WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Experience: 15+ years
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Location: Laurel, MD (On-Site)

REQUIRED SKILLS: The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated extensive in-depth knowledge and hands on experience administering a complex Splunk architecture including load balancers, multi-site configurations, and clustered search heads.
  • Demonstrated experience onboarding relevant data using the Splunk CIM.
  • Demonstrated experience building Splunk technology add-ons to quickly onboard custom data.
  • Demonstrated extensive regex experience in Splunk.
  • Demonstrated experience using Splunk in monitoring and automation workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting Splunk monitoring requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience creating relevant Splunk reports or dashboards.
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced Splunk dashboard building and advanced searching.
  • Demonstrated experience with change management processes using BitBucket, GitHub, and Jira to track changes in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding and explaining complex applications and collect realistic monitoring requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Splunk SDK, Splunk add-on builder, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding and explaining complex applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications:

o Splunk Administrator certification

The likely salary range for this position is $175,845 - $237,908. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
