USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments

HOW A SCITLS Network Ops/CYOC Lead WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages 24/7 network support teams for the CYOC.

  • Monitors and manages networks.

  • Coordinates planned outages and identifies unplanned outages.

  • Tracks planned and unplanned outages.

  • Reports on outages and coordinates and approves network fix actions.

  • Identifies and resolves network events before they become outages.

  • Leads team to deliver 24x7x365 monitoring within the CYOC.

  • Maintains situational awareness of services, networks, applications, and associated devices.

  • Leads the analysis and assessment of operational events, anomalies, and problems.

  • Ensures trend analysis and reporting of anomalies.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

  • Required Certifications: CCNA or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or GCED or GCIH

  • Desired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP); or SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP): or Vmware Certified Specialist - Performance Optimization; or AWS Certified Advanced Networking- specialty

  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

  • Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $166,280 - $224,968. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
