Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.

Network Architect: Builds and maintains network UAF models and designs, builds, and assists with maintaining USSTRATCOM’s secure network environment. Maintains current knowledge of new features and capabilities of interest to USSTRATCOM, and briefs USSTRATCOM management of new networking technologies annually or more frequent. Responsible for monthly technical status meetings. Responsible for evaluating new network technologies to improve the performance, reliability, security. Once a technical refresh has been approved, responsible for the design and implementation of the new network technologies. 

Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available

Clearance: Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $191,412 - $258,970. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
