Job Description Summary
The U.S. Site Communications Manager is an individual contributor role that will drive comprehensive site-specific strategic communications for GE Aerospace sites in support of business objectives through internal and external messaging for over 40 U.S. sites.
The role will be based in Lynn, MA to provide strategic communications support to the local team. Our Lynn site is recognized as a U.S. Department of Defense facility that designs, produces, assembles, and tests military and commercial aircraft engines and components.
Through development of a comprehensive communications strategy, this person will strengthen employee engagement by creating and delivering clear and simple messages to all employees and as well as the local communities where our sites operate.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop site-specific communications at key sites to drive flow-down from P&L leaders to employees at all levels.
- Support key projects in the U.S., especially related to site transformation or change management, as well as enterprise-wide events as needed.
- Lead a site communications council - including an internal and external analysis of the purpose and outcomes of the council. Create shared accountability with communicators embedded in the business.
- Build relationships with site leaders, site HRMs and site-based communicators to evaluate, align and standardize site-based plans, tools and resources for use at other sites.
- Train site leaders to articulate the GE Aerospace strategy more broadly.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic communications, the ability to influence teams, build and manage relationships and balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategy.
- Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a Communications role

- Prior Aerospace industry experience focused on internal communications within a manufacturing environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

This position may be eligible for the following flexible work arrangements (FWA):
- Hybrid work schedule (i.e. 3 days onsite at the Lynn facility; 2 days remote)
