The T&D Producibility and Productivity leader executes the manufacturing strategy to improve producibility and productivity within the Part Family shops globally, supporting/leading critical manufacturing projects, coaching the manufacturing engineering talent across multiple sites.
He/she chairs producibility and Manufacturing Readiness Assessment, sign off drawings in his/her area of activity for production.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Partners across the T&D part family to execute strategic and tactical efforts to improve part producibility, process productivity, manufacturing readiness, and cost.

Chairs/supports producibility and MRL reviews and drive action item governance in his/her scope of activity.
Applies manufacturing technology principles in collaboration with design, sourcing, and quality to drive internal/external manufacturing sources to deliver products that consistently meet quality, cost, and schedule.
Supports part source changes through standard work development and deployment (APQP, MRL).
Utilizes/coaches structured problem solving and enterprise risk management methods, Advanced Product Quality Plan and Manufacturing Readiness Level process.
Interprets/establishes specifications, standard practices, inspection plans and documentation to control the manufacturing processes, in his/her scope of activity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing strategy to improve producibility and productivity within the Part Family.
