GE Aerospace operates three cutting edge manufacturing facilities in the Muskegon area. Our plants are home to high performance teams who are creating quality High Pressure Turbine Nozzles, Low Pressure Turbine Nozzles and Shrouds for use in commercial and military aircraft engines.
As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will support vendor quality opportunities, build strong working team relationship, lead structured problem-solving activities, travel onsite to work with vendors, build report, hold regular communication/accountability meetings on top quality opportunities: new vendor qualification, new process qualification, process improvement activities, and support quality functions through eNMS, SPS, eCAV as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development
- Supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline
- Use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/ strategy
- Communicate with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
- Provide informal guidance to new team members
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations
- Impact projects, processes and procedures in own field
- Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems
- Leverage technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality and/or quality manufacturing experience)
- At least 3 years of supplier quality engineering and/or quality manufacturing experience
