In this role you will be primarily responsible for support of the CF6 HPC stator, structures, and VSV system as a member of the CF6 Product Support Engineering team. You may also support other cold section hardware as needed.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the CF6 flying fleet through prompt responses to AOG and inquiries
  • Assist with Customer Teams to support return-to-service and/or event investigation
  • Analyze fleet and shop data for early identification of leading indicators or other important fleet trends
  • Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Tasks:

  • Analysis of data in area of cost and reliability of engines.
  • Maintain high level of engineering and cultural work standards.
  • Coordination of work of 3-5 specialists working with engine maintenance data
  • Cooperation and consultations inside international team
  • Interpretation of data analysis, drawing conclusions from data and providing recommendation to business on fleet management and process improvements
  • Presenting results to technical and business committee.
