Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution of section Lean strategy; partner with section leader, subsection managers, and department leadership to define Lean strategy, engage within section and across Product Validation department to lead projects and initiatives to improve business performance.
- Serve as a best practice/coaching resource for individuals seeking guidance on Lean principles.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- Lead section level rhythms (DORs, WORs, MORs, strategy action plans).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 10%.
- At least 8 years of experience in an engineering position.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

- Working knowledge of Lean; tools, action planning, problem solving, VSM, Kaizen, and definitions
- Demonstrated skills in Smartsheet, Spotfire, Clarity, MS Project
