Job Description Summary
This Sr Staff Technical Program Manager role will be responsible for building and implementing digital solutions to meet critical Quality needs in support of modernizing GE Aerospace's Quality Management System (QMS). This role will be responsible for leading multiple interdependent projects and owning technical product management for multiple business applications in the Characteristic Management and Inspection Technology spaces within Quality.
Specifically, this role will lead implementation and scaling up of next generation Quality applications covering Characteristic Management, First Article Inspection (FAI), Part Acceptance, Record of Conformity, and Record Retention capabilities. These Quality capabilities are highly regulated and often a source of Quality Escapes. The right digital solutions and successful implementations can significantly reduce quality risk of our parts and engines.

The person in this role will leverage deep technology, process, and domain expertise to develop and communicate the vision and roadmap, as well as to deliver product features and functions that balance customer needs with business strategy, cyber security requirements, minimal defects, and minimal technical debt. They will partner closely with Quality leadership to collaboratively define roadmap to meet these critical Quality needs across all new make Supply Chain and MRO shops to ensure GE Aerospace has best-in-class Quality Management System.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Quality and Supply Chain organizations to identify requirements, build digital solutions, execute complex implementations, and maintain critical applications and systems
- Support and improve Quality capabilities such as Characteristic Management, First Article Inspection (FAI), Part Acceptance, Record of Conformity, and Record Retention
- Lead multiple interdependent, high visibility projects, including Action Planning, Operating Cadences, and executive communication
- Organize cross-functional teams and pull in technical resources where needed, such as infrastructure, architecture, or cybersecurity SMEs
- Manage business critical products including multi-generational strategy, operational stability, cybersecurity risk mitigation, and user support structure
- Build internal and external development teams, translate ambiguous requests into actionable user stories, and manage feature priority and releases
- Collect user feedback, collaborate with UX and users in design decisions, and refine user personas
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including senior leaders
- Own relationship with stakeholders to define scope, gather and refine requirements, and continuously collect feedback
- Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations before deployments/Go-Live's to minimize defects and rework
- Track deliverable on-time-delivery (OTD) and VOC/customer satisfaction levels through established metrics and industry benchmarks
- Perform financial reviews and ensure accurate ongoing budget tracking
- Understand industry trends and stay up to date on associated Quality and tech landscape.

- PMP, ScrumMaster, Agile, or related Project or Product Management certifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
The base pay range for this position is $127,900- $213,200. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 30,2024
