Job Description Summary

In this role, you will manage complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge within shop floor operations and supply chain management solutioning. As part of the Edison Works Digital Technology team, you will define, deploy, and maintain the unique shop floor technology solutions that productionize the prototyping, manufacture, assembly, and testing of business products. You will be responsible for partnering with program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and security functional partners to create a clear strategic direction for enhancing shop floor capabilities and convey that vision to the greater information technology teams including architecture, deployment, and operations. Key areas of focus will be standardizing digital products and processes to enable scalable growth in the use of the technologies.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives through strong collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and priorities
  • Define a clear and descriptive set of requirements, captured as stories, and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt
  • Drive seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, and Product Owners
  • Demonstrates understanding of key cross functional concepts that impact the company, business priorities, & organizational dynamics
  • Performs initial and final financial reviews and ensure ongoing budget tracking
  • Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with manufacturing management processes and tools including shop floor manufacturing machines and inspection technologies
  • Experience working with manufacturing execution software solutions and their design and deployment
  • Experience with manufacturing shop floor automation technologies
  • Active US DOD Security Clearance
  • Understanding and knowledge of DT Security control frameworks (i.e. NIST, ISO, etc.) as well regulatory requirements impacting DT systems (i.e. DFARS, ITAR, DoD/MoD, etc.)
  • PMP, Security+, or related certifications
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter who collaborates well with others to solve problems

Requirements / Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Product Management or IT

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
